caught this little guy coming in for a landing at the local airfield recently...

Good set. They make very similar looking R/C foamies in that paint scheme.

Are those stats correct above for the exposure - f22/f29?

yup... shooting in Tv mode at 1/125 to blur the prop, let the aperture float. i wouldn't normally shoot stopped down that far, but didn't have a CPL or ND filter with me to cut down the light...

some diffraction softening might be marginally visible in the full-size image, but a touch of sharpening in post will usually correct it. as i said, i don't normally shoot at apertures smaller than about f/16, but with the bright light and the slow shutter needed to get the prop blur i wanted, something had to give...
