"Sentimental Journey" close-ups in B/W

went to the airfield today hoping to see the "Sentimental Journey" fly, but they cancelled the flight demonstration because of high winds. so i settled for some close-ups on the ground, and converted to B/W to give them a stormy, moody feel...

a very well looked after aircraft by the looks, nicely done in B&W...


some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:

Very nice, Rocky. I like the angle in the first two and B&W suits the theme very well.

thanks, Joe... she's definitely a well-maintained lady. been around a long time, too... i remember snapping photos of her at an airshow 30 years ago when i first got into photography with a 35mm!
