What does everyone recommend for a fast class 10 32 gig SD card for my Canon 60D? Have a couple older class 10 cards that don't work with video on my 60D. I just keep getting a error saying (the movie as stopped automatically). Thanks for any help.

At what amount of time are you gettin that error?

I use the Sony UHS 1 cards and they work flawlessly and are usually half the cost of Sandisks. I've even shot raw video on them with no issues.

at about 2 seconds in the video just stops. Using a Transcend 16GB class 10 card. Don't know the read/write speed of it though.

Back in mid-December 2014 you started a thread on this same issue (see https://photography-on-the.net …showthread.php?p=17338648). Are you still using the Transcend cards you were using back then or have you tried some others?

Does the camera when it stops present a message like "Movie recording has been stopped automatically"?

Do you have a card reader? If so do an in camera low level format (that should be done all the time anyway) and then remove the card and insert it into the reader. Then check the capacity. If using Windows Explorer in the left panel you should find the card listed under "Computer". Right Click on the card (which may be called "removeable disk") and it should show you used and free space.

Report back here the numbers you get.

If you want to try a new card, I'd suggest the Sandisk 32 GB Extreme Pro currently on sale at Best Buy for $32. See http://www.bestbuy.com …18318855730&skuId=2300144 (external link). If you look at the specs you will see it is UHS-1 compatible. When I was searching for cards for my 60D some online searching at complaints about recording videos seemed to indicate that cards that presented issues were not UHS-1 compliant. It was a long way from a scientific study but there was that tendency of non UHS-1 cards giving issue. I went with Sandisk, several actually, all UHS-1 complaint and don;t have any issues.
