Does it really bug you that much, that some people like responding to posts with nice short comments?? Most of us just like to give words of encouragement to others and don’t need to post headstone photos or have diarrhea of the keyboard and go on and on….. Yawn!

Speaking of donations and paying for the forum, could a moderator or even Pekka say what the average donation amount is? I wondered about that.

Only Pekka know this. To my knowledge he has not shared that information with any of the moderators so I am not sure if he is going to share it here either (but I don't know that).

Why is it that is such an interest lately about members wanting to find a way to make their avators larger. What is wrong with everyone just having the same size. I just don't get it.:D

My life is like one big RAW file....way too much post processing needed.

We always want something bigger and better. Why you think there's tons of people dreaming of L-lenses on this board?! ;)

I agree. A lot of my posts are short and to the point. That is part of my personality. I have been called "abrupt". I couldn't care less about post count. But, I do like to encourage others and comment on their photos. I only say it if it is true! I don't feel that in the sharing section it is necessary to go into a lot of techinical detail unless it is asked for. That is why we have a critique section which I hardly ever post in but read a lot there to learn.

Radtech, you just posted 3 totally useless posts and hundreds of words that served no purpose other than to put down the way somebody else posts. Your post count just went up by 3 and mine went up by 2.

Its funny, I am a long poster on none Gallery message board threads but when I am commenting on a picture I say things like "Great shot!" (or something like that) for only the ones I actually like, the ones I don't like I say nothing at all. I've been here Since Feb 2005 and I hardly would even consider myself active.
