When a wide angle lense adapter says 0.45x, does it turn a 24mm into a 24x0.45=10.8mm?

Sep 04, 2015 23:34 | #3 I am looking to make a p&s (rx100) wider for travel use. Saw some reviews and the images and videos look acceptable. Is the calculation correct? 24mm becomes 10.8mm with a 0.45x ultra wide adapter?
