Their puppy days are too short but again part of the deal.

I wish now that when we had the Setter I had been a better owner and put in the time and effort to take care of him. We kept him outside and didn't do much with him Moose

. We keep our Golden inside, and he's much more a part of the family because of it. But part of that may be all the kids being gone now, so he's our fur-kid, and of course we're more mature now than we were in our early 20's.
