Apache Del Bosque - Any point this time fo year?

Headed to Arizona, New Mexico and staying in Albuquerque for a few days, thinking of heading down to Apache Del Bosque, but unsure what to find there in mid september? Anyone any experience?

Think you have it backwards if you mean Bosque Del Apache?
I have no experience there for mid Sept as I was there in late March which was too late, the Cranes were gone and most waterfowl. However, I fell in love with the place and if I were close at all would return there with out giving it a second thought. There will be something to shoot, scenery, Road Runners, Deer, Hawks, possibly a Mountain Lion.
I'm leaving for SW Utah on the 11th and have too many sites to visit or I would drop down there myself, just don't have the time but have given it some thought, it is a beautiful place.
