and the biggest fly in my area. Skippers were also abundant. I was using the 180mm and purposefully left
any flash at home ~me thinking flash not so helpful at that focal length~ but we'd already lost the Sun so I
was pushing the ISO and if pixel peeping they are a bit grainy-

I'd never seen a fly that large....oh I'm going to tell you I wanted to bring him home for a stack
but thought just for a moment that someone else might find him in the gardens like I did, so that
big boy got to live for another day
