Looking to trade my Yongnuo EF 35mm 2.0 for a EF-S 24mm 2.8.

Lens is great only con for me is it's not wide enough or long enough, If I had a full frame I'm sure I'd never get rid of it but on my crop it works out to be a 56mm equivalent, which I know others will love. I'm just a weirdo who never liked 50-58mm for some reason.

My review and samples are here https://photography-on-the.net …showthread.php?p=17696518

Condition is 9/10 only because it's used but it's like new.

Will come with original box, lens caps, paperwork.

Will consider another lens trade but I really need a fast 35mm ish equivalent on a crop.

Or will sell for $100 plus shipping/pp fees.

I already have a 8mm,50mm,135mm and 200mm so not interested in any of those. Also never been a huge fan of zooms but I'd still consider one. Let me know what you have!

The above was written as part of an attempt to waste time.

I'm interested. How does this compare with the Canon EF 35mm f/2 lens?
Would you share your opinion or post some photos taken with this lens?

Current gear: One crop frame body, a couple of lenses, one flash
Wishlist: More time; better photography skills, some good glass, full-frame body.....

I ended up trading it, sorry for not closing the thread.

But you can find samples in the thread I made here.

https://photography-on-the.net …/showthread.php?t=1439628

I would defiantly recomend it, it has phenomenal autofocus. Optic wise It's identical to the old Canon F2.

Has some CA wide open, clears up by F4. At F8 it's all gone. Although I still used it wide open all the time, fixing the CA took a couple of seconds in Photoshop.

Only downsize is the bokeh is not as pleasing, which is the same for the Canon.

I think they're down to like $100 new on ebay and amazon. Really one of the best bargains out there.
