I took this from the parking lot along with 100's of other photographers last night.

if i recall, clingmans dome is the most easily accessible point (by car) in the middle of the NP.

add in labor day weekend and i'm sure it was a mess.

nice pic, might be a bit over cooked on the clarity slider.

Patrick, we I didn't actually count. If you have ever been there then you know the size of that parking lot. I had a hard time finding a parking space. So there were very many people there.

Left Handed, yes I did pump up that slider quite a bit.

Thanks for those words guys. It is a great place to catch the sunset. I hope to visit more often in the future. It is about 1/5 hr to 2 hr drive from my home depending on the traffic. This was a 2 hr trip.
