Ok, I was on the hunt for a zoom lever or focus puller or whatever you call them, but I wanted something rigged up to my 18-135mm zoom lens for zooming in and out smoother.

While I could have chosen from several makers out there on the interwebs readily available at Amazon or B&H, I just thought I could make one or find something local...so off to my hard ware store I went...which happened to be one of the big box stores named Menards.

While walking every aisle searching for something that I could piece to get through modification or what not, I stumbled across an aisle near the registers that had miscellaneous items and most on clearance...and I came across this Multi-clamp item for 1.99!

Here it is and let me say, it works rather well for a hobbyist who just needs to pull a lever a few times to get a shot or two!

On my hunt, I did look for one of these and would have most likely ordered it if I didnt find anything.
