Rear Curtain Sync with ST-E2 transmitter

Folks, I recently bought an ST-E2 transmitter to use with my 20D and 589EX flash unit. However, I cannot get it to give me rear curtain sync as it does when attached with a cord.

This is necessary for a "crisp" subject when doing a long exposure plus flash.

Anyone know how to activate it?

You will loose the second curtain sync with Canon wireless trigger, that's fact of life. One way to go around this is to extend the off shoe cord.
