So, who did? Experiences? How does it compare? As a lot of people have upgraded from the old a7r, I wonder how the camera compares to the a7ii. Looking for real world experience, no interest in spec comparison.

Sep 08, 2015 14:59 | #2 I did. In fact, I've sold my A7II to go Fuji X-T1 and then I sold it after buying the A7RII. I prefer the ISO performance from the A7RIIm it's one of the biggest differences, also the EVF is better even then the Fuji one, and last but not least, the resolution, it's incredible.

I went from an a7r, to an a7II, to the a7rII. focalpointsphoto.com

Sep 15, 2015 10:28 | #4 I'm still not quite in love with my A7II and really can't put a finger on it why that is, since I love my other Sony cameras so much. I have a feeling I'm comparing the A7II too much to the D750 and apart from size and lack of EVF, there's little where the Nikon isn't "better". But still I love the Sony system, the EVF, the video capability etc. To be honest, if I could get a 24-120/F4 equivalent on the A7RII and some cheaper but good performing primes (like the Nikon 50/1.8) I would have very little reason not to switch. But the A7II always feels lacking in some ways. Decent zoom? Nope, or very expensive. Primes? Great, but very very expensive compared to SLR lenses. Fast AF? Nope, not on the A7II. High ISO? Quite a bit less than the D750. But even then, I still grab the A7II to try make the best of it. Man I would love to love this camera but I just can't. Mind I'm a very specific shooter, demanding high ISO performance with great AF and (sometimes) reach when needed. Read: kids, indoors, erratic movements. http://www.flickr.com/photos/23660915@N07/
