Yes I am aware of that! ^

But I thought that the adjustments made in the dock are corrections of the lens itself.
So I adjusted everything great on the 5DII but on the 6D the infinity is completely off while everything under 3m is fine.

I thought I could adjust the lens with the dock once. And correct the lens with MA in-body, but it wasn't good. I didn't know I had to use completely different dock settings for each body.

They are just corrections to the lens itself, but that's the point. One of the problems requiring lens calibration is the tolerances between cameras and lenses. My Sigma 18-35mm worked almost perfectly on my Canon 60D without calibration on the dock but required significant calibration to work on my Canon 7D II. However, if I want to use it on my 60D, I have to restore it to the factory settings. I have 4 Canon bodies at this point, the 7DII, the 60D, and two Rebels. The 18-35mm works a little differently on all four of them. This is quite normal. Every lens, regardless of whether calibrated using in camera MFA or for Sigma USB dock should be checked when attempting to use it on a new body.

I'm going to call BS on the comments about L lenses. you will not get major backfocus like the OP mentions from body to body with L lenses.

Really?

My 35L canon has a massive difference between my 5D2 and 1DIV in back focus between both cameras so there you go Mr BS.
