Lots of historic planes from the past. Some of my favorites.

Taken at Pima Air Museum in Tucson AZ.

B-36J Peacekeeper. Biggest Bomber America built. Never flies in anger. An interim place holder until the B-52 becomes our dominant heavy bomber.

Convair B-58 Hustler. Delta wing bomber designed to fly fast. Could deliver nukes.

Thx.

My wife and I always find time for a Pima Air Museum day when we visit Tucson. There's always something new to see & the staff are friendly and informative. Out last visit was in 2013 and we will be heading out later this year. We are hikers, so we will drop down to Chiricahua Ntl Monument and do a long 10 mile hike one day. The following day will be our "recovery" day from the hike to stroll around Pima.

Cracking set, the '50's and early '60's produced some innovative and fantastic looking planes.

Love the Peacemaker shots - what a name for a plane a bit like naming a bomb "Gentle Touch" ....
