Sep 10, 2015 19:37 | #4 Thanks Captbob & ardeekay. The flock of crossbills was very flighty due to Kestrels in the area. What your seeing is the top part of a large gravel stockpile in a gravel pit. I was on the outer bank of the gravel pit which gave me a few feet elevation over them. I have likly cropped to the max. even with a 400 they are a small target at any distance. They must of taken off and landed a hundred times. there were 100+ of them. Never make a decision when you have to pee. L Cohen
