Well here we go. Let's see your 2015 High School, College, All-Star Cheer photos.

This was my first night back on a field. Not the shot I wanted but close. I cut the pom off on the right.

Pulled saturation up because this was a possible shirt print, but have decided against it due to the cutoff.

I had a mom asking me about printing on a shirt. Do you have it screened or transfered? BTW I like the image

I like it, a refreshing angle, good composition and the bright light gives a feel of an event even if no stadium is shown.

Clone out the bit of yellow on the left, improves it I think. Nice shot.

I actually think it is a stronger composition this way, with the pom-pom "cut off". If the entire pom-pom were included, I don't think it would be as nice of a photo as it is this way.

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".

This would have to be done with a transfer. Screens are done individually by color, and the cost would be outrageous if someone actually screen printed it.

Thanks, the more opinions I've received on it, the more I'm starting to accept it. I was shooting home side on the track while they were facing the field. I would have loved to have their announcement box in the background if I shot it the other way around.

Now that I've been able to sit on it I agree. Originally I wanted to print this or an image close to this on a black shirt. So the complete pom would be shown while the rest of the edge gets lost in the black shirt.

Any one else have photos to add to the thread???

Actually, they don't have to be that bad. I've had both screened (one color) & Vistaprints done: Googled it (external link)

Not the easiest to get as they are usually standing behind and facing the crowds.

I use vistaprint for my business shirts and have been very happy with them. They use transfers that hold up pretty well. I wish the would print larger though.

I'm a landscape/nature photographer, not a sports guy...but my daughter is a cheerleader, so I'm the "unofficial" cheer-photographer. This is from last night's away game.

Before the game...

My daughter was asked to fill-in for our local All-Star team. This is from the American Showcase at the Anaheim Convention Center; April 11 & 12, 2015.

This set doesn't work for me. Lots of noise, no composition. A little motion blur might help here. It might be the image size that's causing artifacts that aren't there in the original though. As it stand, these are nice snaps but not photographs. The second is the best of the bunch for me but you cropped the hair of the center jumper. Hope you take the comments as constructive criticism as that's how they're meant.

Thanks for the comments.

Noise - Yes it's noisy. Why? I'm using and old 5D that only goes up to ISO 3200 and I'm using a 70-200 fL4 lens. I would rather see noise than no pictures at all. ;-)a

No Composition - Most of those are action shots, so it's tough to have a "composition" when I'm limited to locations that may not be optimal. Are they snaps? Maybe, but sometimes snapshots are okay when they involve my kids. It is what it is.

Yes, I wish I didn't crop my daughter's hair on the second set, but it is what it is.

Hope you take the comments as constructive criticism as that's how they're meant.

A bit harsh, but thanks none the less. :-)
