Hello all,
I'm currently building a ball head for my Manfrotto 055XPROB. Using a few parts (including the actual ball) from a Bogen 3265 pistol grip head. It currently has a Manfrotto RC2 quick-release clamp. I've found that, while the RC2 system is fast, it isn't stable.
I want to switch to an A-S system. Speed is not a priority, so a screw-type clamp would be fine. Would a chinese (Neewer or similar) clamp be stable and secure? Thoughts?
Thanks
