Digital Camera Speed Challenge #386 - Decay - Open to your interpretation of what this represents.

This challenge begins when posted, and will end at 7:00 p.m. Pacific time Friday September 18th, 2015

Winner of this challenge will be announced shortly thereafter.

Standard Rules apply for Photo Submissions:
1. Camera: Any digital Camera (no cell phones!)
2. Time: Any on-topic photo taken at any time is eligible, although photos that have won other competitions should NOT be entered.
3. Size: Please visit Image Posting Rules.
4. Post Processing: Do whatever you like and the host will decide if it works.
5. Posting: ONE PHOTO per photographer in each challenge. Camera model & lens used. Post brief EXIF data including ISO, shutter speed and aperture used.
6. Commenting: No commenting during challenge. When the posting is closed and a winner has been declared, comments can be made in this thread.
7. Keep it clean, and both Family and Work safe.
8. Have questions, PM me.
9. Have FUN! One challenge every week, on the following schedule:
* New Topic - After winner is declared.
* Posting Starts - Right after topic is announced.
* Posting Ends - 7:00 p.m. Pacific time Friday September 18, 2015.
* Winner from this competition decides the theme of the next one (and judges it for a winner) after this competition is closed.

Great submissions everyone. Here is my considered judgement:
1st place: teekay – you make garbage look good
2nd place: Kaingulodge – disturbing and thought provoking
3rd place: Voaky99 – I like the composition and colour (not to mention the yellow underwear hanging in the window…)

Special mention to Moonshiner for taking the theme in an unexpected direction…

I'm looking forward to the next challenge, take it away teekay!

I won?:eek: You're kidding! I really thought that almost every other entry was better than mine, but in particular KainguLodge's arresting and disturbing elephant and Voaky's old building.

But thank you anyway, Darkslinger, and I'll try and have a new challenge up later today. I will also change the cutoff day to Monday as I think that gives people a chance to go and take shots over the weekends just before challenges close.
