I've read various accounts on the net that this lens will work relatively well with the APS-H censors, with some vignetting at the wide end. I wanted to see if anyone out there is actually using this combination and if they are satisfied with the results.

There are times that 23-45 f/1.8 (effective FL on APS-H) at wedding receptions + astrophotograpy would be disgustingly attractive to me.

A friend uses one for video on a C-100 and loves it, but APS-H is still a little bit wider than Super 35. If you test it out, please update :)

If memory serves right, on a full frame, there is vignetting up till 30mm. I believe someone posted FF samples in the 18-35 sample thread.

Not sure how FF sample would really help you. But I don't remover if anyone posted APS-H samples. Still the FF samples might give you an idea of what the vignetting would be like.

the website isnt up anymore..but there was one showing it on a 1D4 and even at 18 it had slightly darker corners but looked totally correctable in post.
Friend of mine has one I will see if I can get ahold of it to shoot images with it on my 1D3.
