Lovely captures, Travis - Silly analogy but I think Skippers are like the French Bulldog equivalent of butterflies with their adorable stocky-like bodies and their short, stout faces. However, they are far more pretty!

Thanks Linda... this was uncharted territory for me. I am never able to get close enough to even attempt a shot, so I wasn't really sure what to do! ;)

plus I had a full set of tubes on at the time, so that limited the distance from target
