We have a few in our local club. From what I've learned, you want to shoot them at 1/250 or under to get the prop blur. That worked ok for me with my 7D - but in a recent outing with my new 7D Mark II, it was more of a struggle. This camera likes higher shutter speeds to keep the image sharp. So now I have to learn to do the prop blur in Photoshop

According to the 7DII focus issue thread, many say the sensor is denser than the 7D, even though it's only a couple of MP more, and as a result, you can get micro blur causing the image to be not as sharp as you would like. I'm referring to hand holding with longer lenses here - 1/250 on a tripod should be the same no matter which body.
