Thanks - No, It might see a small bit of snow 1x or 2x per year, but mostly RAIN, RAIN and a bit more RAIN on top of that.

Not sure of which celestial shots you are referencing...

Photo number 2 and 3 and maybe number 5. I consider all sky photos to be celestial.

I have to get up that way soon!

Nice shots. I grew up on the North Island and haven't got back to the Cape since leaving as a teenager.
Your pictures give me some incentive.

Ah! of course - good point.

Don't go in the winter. Apparently there can be 30m waves off the tip of Cape Scott!

I love it there! It has changed a LOT as a park, and now there is also the North Coast Trail that goes across the North towards Port Hardy from Nissen Bight!
