insufferably pedantic. I can live with that.

First screenshot attached: from RTAT, showing that two images entered Best Of together. Second screenshot: from Best Of gallery, and one of those images is way down on the page. At first, I thought it was missing from the gallery.

I would guess that this is intentional, as everything Pekka does seems to be very well thought out and intentional.
However, it would be interesting to read an explanation as to the rationale behind the re-ordering of Best Of thumbnails. I like to come to an understanding as to why people order and format things the way that they do.

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".

Adding Best Of is an event that may happen long after the actual photo was posted. Best of gallery is ordered by post time.

Thanks, I understand that part. But--

Best of gallery is ordered by post time.

The latest addition to Best Of (penguins) was posted almost two years ago. Wouldn't ordering by post time put this photo farther back in the gallery, with others posted in 2013?

The question may seem picky. I ask because it isn't clear whether checking only the first page of the gallery will keep me from missing new additions.

Thanks for asking. A correction: best of is sorted by time when photo was added to the member gallery. Having a sorting by post time would not be good.
