just superb... :-)


some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:

Im loving these pictures but didn't you have to crop them massively? as a 400mm on full frame isn't that great.

Sadly yes, I had to crop harshly.

I did intend to use my 7D, but it is in desparate need of a clean and I was not happy with the test results on the pre-show model aircraft flights, so I switched to the 5D. In hindsight, I could of added a x1.4 II I had with me.

It was a fantastic show though and I'm happy with what I came away with, both on card and in memory :-)

Great shots did you crop out no10 of the Reds ,I was at BAE WARTON one came in on its own before the others making eleven they gave us a great fly past with smoke

The Red Arrows flew a nine ship display with Red Ten having arrived earlier to do the comentry.
