went to the Paul Allen's Flying Heritage Collection "free fly day" this afternoon at Paine Field in Everett... weather was far from ideal for this kind of stuff, but with careful exposure and some tweaks in processing, i got a number of good images. this is the FHC's P-47D Thunderbolt, "Tallahassie Lassie"...

Nice work Rocky - excellent detail and a slow shutter ... way to go! Love the Thunderbolt - it doesn't seem to get its due credit.

thank you, Lupo! these were shot in Tv mode at 1/160... that's about as slow a shutter as i can use and still pan decently to keep the aircraft sharp, but it's enough to give a nice prop blur.
