I'm looking at a couple of second hand lenses, either a Canon EF 35mm f/2 (non IS) or a Canon EF 28mm f/1.8 (also non IS). These lenses just fall either side of 50mm FOV and I only have the budget for one.
My cameras are a 7D and a 600D. I seldom use video.
I already own the 24 f/2.8 STM which I feel is too wide for what I want at times and isn't fast enough, and a 50mm f/1.8 II which is too close.
The types of shooting that I think I want either of these lenses for are indoor with family and friends, and also touring around city's and a bit of night sky photography.
I would like to know what lens people would recommend out of these two.
Cheers.
Adam.
