This may not apply to many people here, but if it does apply to you, you need to know!
The Adobe ETLA is not the "Adobe Extended Three-letter Acronym," but rather the Adobe Enterprise Term Licensing Agreement. It is a program for large organizations that license many copies of Adobe software, giving them a negotiated price. I work for a large university, and our Creative Cloud ETLA price to departments and units is $180/yr for a "named license" (used by one individual) or $126/yr for a "device license" (installed on computers accessed by multiple users, such as in a lab). These licenses can only be purchased by departments and other university units, using university funds.
What I recently learned is that our institution's ETLA includes a "work-at-home" license available to all faculty and staff. This is a one-year license for $9.75. That is not per month, but for the entire year, and it includes all of the Adobe CC apps. These licenses are purchased by individuals using personal funds. I used my Paypal account. I was not planning to subscribe to CC, but I could not pass this up.
Again, this is essentially a deal negotiated by my employer, and most people don't have the opportunity to get this sort of price. However, there have to be others here whose employers have ETLAs, and if your employer has one you should check to see if they have negotiated a work-at-home license like this. It is an amazing deal.
