Since I don't see one yet... I figured I'd start the 2015 fall foliage photo thread.

I'll be heading out to the walk bridge in Poughkeepsie, NY this October. Can't wait, and will certainly post my best shots here.

Went camping 2 weeks ago, and this was the view we woke up to. . .lots of color pretty early in the year. This was looking west from Jordanelle campground near Park City, Utah.

It has been SOOOO long since I had real fall color! San Diego just has other attributes but good fall color does not happen here.

Been quiet on the home front for fall color this year. Just got back from a two day trip shooting around Mono and Inyo County...The main areas of interest are still 10 or so days away from being interesting and perhaps 14-18 days from peak...California Fall Color .com has some updates too...here are a few from last week..

Off the road to North Lake in the Sabrina area..

First portion of my 2015 Fall Foliage work started last weekend. Drove up Guanella Pass from Georgetown, catching the last bit of Sunrise:

After catching sunrise, I continued on to Grant, then off to Park County and up C.R. 54 towards Georgia Pass. Along the road, I saw the shadows & light that really captured my attention, so I created a 2-image layer blend.

Grand Mesa, Mesa County, Colorado Sunday. Not many great stands of Aspens remain but those remaining Aspens displayed great color.

everything is still pretty green in new england. pointless going up for some autumnal shots until we get a cold snap. It has been too hot and dry, we are expecting plenty of rain too in the next week, which won't aid the coloring process... but hopefully i'll get something in the next couple of weeks

Slight change here in upstate NY. Very dry here to up until this recent rain. Many leaves are just dying and falling off, the wind hasn't helped. Hopefully it's better in the Adrondacks, I have time off next week going to drive around and see.

Same here - leaves are falling before getting to their peak colours. It's a strange fall....

This was last weekend.
