This is one of them, I got pretty close in with the 70D with Venus 60mm lens @ ISO 200 and 1/200sec, used the ringflash as the apple is below the tree in the shadows.

It's the only way I can get a flash in the right place with the front of the lens being 2 inches from subjects at its closest focus using 2:1 but it seems to do a decent job with the diffusion layers on it Alex.
