I guess the #2 shot is of shadows on a wall.
Reasonably interesting effect.
I think perhaps #1 is the better shot, because it has a little more interest and a greater range of tones.

Normally, I would object to the perspective in #1. However, in this case it gave you better positioning of the shadows relative to the statues and kept everything separated very nicely.

The exposure seems to be optimum for the subject material and the mood.

Interesting and rather unique - congratulations!
