I thought the 70-200 f2.8 MkII was the new white. Is that not the case or is it an older date code lens and Canon made a switch at some point?

Mines around 3 years old and its not as white as my 100-400 or 200-400. I don't have any older "white" gear to compare it to though I've not heard of the 70-200 2.8 IS II's white having changed in the past 3 years.

Wish we could get them for that here, last shop I asked what they were going for knowing the Aus dollar had fallen the lens had gone up to 16,000 from 13,000 :(
