Eastern Box Turtle - male

Eastern Box turtles can live over 100 years and grow to over 7" in length. This guy was one of the biggest I have seen and had to be older than I am...

...the last two are with the 100mm plus a full set of tubes (I was out with the macro setup)

Thanks Trevor. I assumed it was a male when it mounted my foot... Actually, the males generally have red irises and the females have brown irises
