nice shots, i've decided i enjoy moon shots with more a scenic feel to them...even if it is a super blood moon...did you avoid the crowds by heading down to kirby cove?

Everything sort of took on a Reddish hue. Nice shot! :-)

The Captain and crew finally got their stuff together, now if we can only remember where we left it.

Thanks Andre. Kirby was almost deserted, which was nice, but parking up on Conzelman was insane. I originally gave up on Kirby as there was no parking available with many, many, cars parked illegally. My "Plan B" was to park at the roundabout further up Conzelman and hike up Slacker Hill. However, I didn't like any of the perspectives I was getting so I just ended up hiking from there down to Kirby, which made for a long slog back to the car in the dark.

i'd say it was worth it...i went up to the headlands once for a regular super moon, so i can only imagine the amount of cars for this one...as far as perspectives i looked at the photographers ephemeris before, and didn't feel like there was anywhere nearby i would want to go...it looked like the headlands would be looking at it rising over oakland, so i chose to sit home and watch football :)

Well I had C. J. Anderson going in my fantasy team, so I'm glad I didn't watch the game :)
