A stunning moth that was attracted to light at night. Montane forest, Malaysia. Erebus albicinctus, (Erebidae) - ID credit: JC Megabyte.

For some reason the background in the first one really seems to complement the shot.

Also, the camo is incredible :D

Spectacular species, makes me want to get a moth trap but I know round here I'll just get small dull brown ones and the odd lacewing.
