I've shot at COTA quite a few times, but this year's Lone Star Le Mans was my 1st time being credentialed...

thank you sir...this car was much different looking than all the others...i found myself shooting its way more often than not...the gunmetal gray & lime green is a great color combo

Nice the 4 P1 car is nice isn't it. Makes a great pic. The G-Force car is a nice one too. Wish I could get that close to the track but I've found some pretty decent spots in the public areas. Just wish the wall along the short straight coming towards the hairpin was a little longer so you could get them coming off the hill with the tower in the background. Looks like the only place is in that camera hole to get that shot. Used to live in Colorado Springs the track there had a hundred creds they sold for the cost of insurance and a little for the track. Worked out to a little over 100 bucks a year. Different colored badge and you had to yield the holes to the real creds but it was nice. Wish they would do that at COTA. I've never seen a glut of photographers there.
