Are lightning pics considered astronomy?

Not sure if this is the right place to post these, but I wanted to share some shots of the most incredible lightning storm I've ever witnessed.

Lightning here on earth isn't celestial, so I would think no. But they're cool.

They fit the best within astronomy cause there is no weather section on this forum unless it's used as a landscape image .

I was unsure of the landscape subforum too, but I'm reminded that it's called "Nature & Landscapes", so I think lightning without land is appropriate.

Yes, that's why I suggested it. Lightning shots often fit both terms.

There are also a number of lightning threads in that forum, so it seems others would agree.
