I've been out to Point Reyes National Seashore (North of San Francisco in Marin County) a lot lately for the tule elk rut (there are two herds up there), but while striking out quite a bit on the elk, I have seen a ton of coyotes lately, including a lot of young ones. Every trip has been well worth it (there are also a ton of deer, and raptors, and I even spotted a bobcat).
