Anyone actually dealt with PANAMOZ UK

I am seriously thinking about pushing the button on a 5DS R @ £2,110 - Wex and Calumet want £ 3,199.
So its a big saving.

Interested to know if anyone has actually bought a dslr camera from them, was it packed well, how long was the shipment, was it brand new,
I understand that if you are hit by customs they refund it. They have also said if it has stuck/ dead pixels on the lcd or sensor it will be replaced at their expense.

Bluntly I would normally only buy from a proper canon dealer. But at £3,199 its too much and £2,110 is doable.
Of course there is the risk!

Any help appreciated.

Obviously HDWE @ £2,439 have advantages UK based, no customs risk, actual shop front, and the contract is based on UK law; whereas Panamoz is subject to Hong Kong law!

I bought a lens from panamoz.
Delivery was quick, about 4 days, no problems at all and it came with three year uk warranty.

I would buy from them again going on my previous purchase.

I've used them on several occasions and will do again..Brilliant no quibble 3 year warranty, about 4 working days delivery and 100% no custom or similar charges...Very highly recommended by me..

Canon lenses and bodies come all the way from Japan without an extra box for packaging so a short trip in the UK should be ok.
All my orders from them arrived undamaged.....on the off chance something is damaged they will replace it...
Massive saving on UK prices and a longer warranty!!!!

I bought my 7D from them for about a third less than anywhere else. Delivered in less than a week and was faultless. Recommended.

Well I took the risk and ordered the 5DS R.
They seemed very nice and agreed to do an extra special 5 layer bubble wrap and an extra external box for £20 extra. Got to be worth it for a camera costing £3200 in the UK.

Lets hope it arrives undamaged and without faults!

Time will tell but a 34% saving at £1,100 saving is hopefully worth a try??

Ordered Wednesday 6.00 pm, at 6.45 am Thursday UPS confirmed collection and a tracking no.
Friday 3.00 pm arrived beautifully packed, with an additional strong outer cardboard box, and 3" of quality bubble wrap all around it.
Retail box was pristine, perfect as requested. ( so I know no shock damage was transmitted to the camera )
Genuine Canon 5DS R all brand new , all accessories, manual in English, turned on Camera ... Met with English.
The only thing that might ? ? not be Canon, in a sealed Canon accessory platic wrapper, was the UK power cord.
It was every bit as good as the Canon one in my UK bought 5D3. And it could be a genuine Canon one??
Who cares saved 34%. £1,100!

Note I asked for extra packing and paid £20 - totally so worth it for the peace of mind.

Panamoz never seem to answer the phone - BUT always reply to all emails within 3 minutes, yes minutes. If you ask them 4 questions in an email - all 4 are perfectly answered! None of the usual half hearted answers, and all the points are resolved.
If one is sceptical as I was, then having the written word would actually be safer were anything to go wrong.

Oh and nobody tried to sell me any upgrades or accessories. Just a great genuine service

IMO fabulous service, how they get stuff from Hong Kong to UK in under 2 days is fantastic. All trackable on UPS.
Paid by Paypal backed by a credit card so double protected!

If I had met them before I could have a 1DX gratis!
