I find the Pelican case dividers to be flimsy. Do better divider sets exist that fit the Pelican cases?

As shown below the ThinkTank dividers are more rigid than the Pelican ones.

I was able to find the TrekPak divider system for Pelican and Storm cases. Unfortunately, it doesn't come with a floor pad, so that won't work.

Correction: TrekPak does come with a top and bottom foam pad.

The TrekPak system looks to be good and of high quality, but pretty expensive!

I too bought\use the TrekPak system.....one for larger (1510) pelican storage case and a smaller one (1450) for the field....I use l brackets on all bodies and can say in 120 days of fairly regular use of the (1450) and careful handling of any components, taking in-out of case.....L bracket enclosed bodies, lenses, plastic battery holders, flashes.......the TrekPak foam coating is not breaking down any. by adjusting the dividers to allow just enough room whereas not to be tightly (as in not 1 centimeter of wiggle-room) its remained intact w\o any scarring.....just pay attention and don't be derelict reckless to your handling of internal components and it appears TrekPak will be a viable solution for use........

Are t those trek dividers hard walled? They look awesome, but don't look to soft. I don't want my equipment retaking up against hard walled dividers.

The dividers are not hard. it's plastic on the inside with a thin later of foam padding on the outside. It's soft enough to protect your gear but hard enough that it won't bend like the flimsy dividers that other cases/bags come with.

I love the TrekPak. I have it installed in my ThinkTank StreetWalker backpack. You can read my full review at http://www.1kindphotography.com …l-camera-bag-divider.html (external link)

I also have it for my Pelican 1510. http://www.1kindphotography.com …hprc-nanuk-hard-case.html (external link)

I will need to see one of those trek pads in practice. That photo does not look like it would provide as soft a padding as the standard Pelican dividers. I have my 1510 packed pretty tight, and the padding all flexes together if needed. And because the dividers form to the lenses, I can snuggly fit them into the case, and the padding can them form around the body and lens. The trek pad makes me think you are sticking it into a little box with hard walls.

As I said, I just have to see it in person.

Some pictures from the review

Pelican dividers. They offer no support and isn't meant to wrap around the lens.

The TrekPak offers a tight fit and a very very clean layout. The dividers are not as hard as they look. It offers a lot of protection and much more durable.

I hope this is allowed. I get nothing from this other than passing the savings to you and saving you money. TrekPak has provided me an exclusive coupon to share with my readers. Discount only applies at www.trekpak.com (external link).

I am also curios about this. I just bought 1510 and using it with foam but need some kind of dividers. TerkPak is really expensive. Unless it is really worth it I do not want to spend money which can be spent somewhere else like sirui p-204s.

It is worth it. To me, its an investment as it is protecting your gear. The foam is nice but once you pluck it out and you swap out gears, you're stuck and have to buy a whole new foam. With the TrekPak, its moveable and flexible with your change in gear.

ive put 60 days of continued use with my trekpaks in 2 cases since last posting and can say w\o any reservation...for me, this deal works just fine...big improvement over the padded dividers.....
1kind, I always saved my foam from cutouts and would use rubber cement to "replace" and "re-configure" with reasonably decent success...jfwiw
