I rented the 100L during SXSW 2015...it was amazing for macro & incredible for portrait work of musicians...I fell in love with it & have added it to my list of "future" buys

Lovely contrasting colors...came across these vines growing vertically...people were walking by me & asking, "what is he taking a picture of?" some people just dont get it

Lovely shots. Yes macro lenses can reveal hidden worlds as well as making very sharp portrait lenses.
