photographed Matisyahu at Stubb's BBQ earlier this year...it was a small, intimate setting where he played acoustic guitar and interacted with the crowd

With those higher ISOs, did you have to remove a lot of noise in post?

Well......I've heard of Stubb's BBQ.

I wouldn't think there'd be too much noise at 4000. I shoot a 6D and I get pretty much nothing at that level.

I rarely use noise reduction...with proper exposure, noise isnt a big issue normally...these shots were processed with a tad bit of contrast, color correction & sharpening
