Ok yesterday my monitor died. It was an older Dell 19". So very early in the morning, like at 2:30am, I call Wally-World, which is the closet place I could get a quick replacement. Ask if they have several PC monitors available. I was told yes, even asked about IPS, again yep. So I drive about 30 miles, get there and they have 2 types of monitors, neither IPS. One is an Acer 24", can be seen here (external link). I was not that impressed, so I got to thinking that TVs have a port where you can plug in your PC.

Well I decided to pick up 2xSanyo 24 (external link)" and run them dual. (Oh boy, just now learned it's no longer carried). I'm really starting show my ignorance on this stuff here. These TVs, have 2 HDMI, plus the PC port. So far I just have one connected. While the quality isn't that bad, I was hoping for better. The reason for just plugging in one, well I'm not sure if I would benefit from trying to run dual monitors with these. One side-note, I do have a Satellite TV cable ran to my desk, where I had an old CRT TV. So I considered this when purchasing them.

My PC video card is an Nvidia GTX 645, Specs:

Maximum resolution:

DisplayPort resolution: 2560 x 1600 at 60Hz
DVI (dual-link) resolution: 2560 x 1600 x 32bpp at 60Hz
HDMI resolution: 1920 x 1080
Analog VGA resolution (with adapter): 2048 x 1536 x 32bpp at 75Hz
Supports up to two displays at the same time with independent resolutions up to the maximum , in the following configurations:
DVI(VGA)+HDMI +DP

Now with all that said, if I choose to keep these, how would I hook them up to I could use both in LR or PS, or whatever? Do I run HDMI from my PC to one of the monitors (TV), then use one of the other ports(VGA) to connect to the other? I'm guessing the HDMI ports on the monitors (TV) are just input, or could I run an HDMI from one to the other?
Reason I'm asking here, I have not opened the box on the 2nd one, so at least they can't give me much grief on returning if that would be the route to go.

Thanks..

you could get an ultrawide (external link) and not need dual monitor any more.
