I ordered this lens last week for my EOS 630 film body(obviously full frame). I have a 77mm polarizer but it's not slim. Will there be vignetting at 24mm with it? Should I get a slim 77mm?

No. You should be fine.

Thanks. That's good to know-saves me a few bucks not having to buy a slim polarizer. The lens should be here in a few days.

+1 on this. I've used two different non-slim CPLs on my 24-105 for a number of years without any filter vignetting.
