Once a very popular attraction for almost 100 years, Bob-Lo Island now lies abandoned and desolate. Other parts of the island have been developed into a housing community, a marina remains, the rides have been sold off, but the memories remain.

I spent a day there recently with a friend of mine who once worked there.

I'm too new to the area to have experienced it, but one of the Boblo boats is up for restoration.
