Lightroom CC latest update

Is anyone experiencing lockups with the latest update - it seems to allow develop of 1 pic then freezes on the second

Are you using an Apple product? If so, which operating system is it running?

windows 7 service pack 1
Just upgraded to CC from Lightroom 5 a couple of weeks ago and not had an issue until I updated yesterday

Win 7 64-bit here. When exiting the new LR CC there is an approximately 1x16-in portion of the LR screen that is still visible on my desktop. This should not happen. I'm going back to the previous release until Adobe fixes this train wreck.

All my Lr and Ps problems have been due to graphics card drivers. Sometimes installing the manufacturer's latest solves the problem, sometime it causes the problem and you need to either roll-back or wait for a new release.

Have you installed this new version? There is more than driver conflicts going on here. The number and variety of problems with this release are unprecedented. Plus, they removed useful features that have been in LR for years. Victoria Brampton, who is probably the biggest LR advocate not paid by Adobe, recommends that users avoid this update until Adobe fixes it. She also suggests that users lobby Adobe to restore the features (mostly in the Import function) that they might miss.

If you want to see a summary of how Adobe has dumbed down Import in LR, go to Laurashoe.com and watch her video on the redesign of Import. She echoes others' advice to skip this version and wait for Adobe to fix it.

The new version is a steaming pile of dog sh*t. Biggest issue with the Windows version is that one or more threads are hanging and not allowing proper shutdown. So, after closing the app, it won't start again (seemingly). Check task manager and you'll see "Lightroom.exe" still running, though the form has visually disappeared. Manually terminating the task will allow it to start again.

The video corruption and non-redraw of the desktop is NOT a driver issue, but an issue with the app not terminating correctly. Win7x64, Win8.1x64 - same symptoms on 5 different boxes.

Another half-cooked adobe product where people pay to be a beta tester!

...and so is crack.

I updated my LR CC on my Mac last night, crashes almost 70% of the time when going back to LR after doing edits in PS. Strangely it only happens when LR is in full screen mode.
Specifics:
MacOS- El Capitan
Late 2012 Mac Mini

This is getting ridiculous!

The Adobe manager in charge of Lightroom has apologized for releasing the (known) buggy version, and has acknowledged that some of the "underused" features that they removed from Import are missed by users. No indication that they intend to return those features, however.
