Was able to capture this antelope as he came over the ridge and the sun was rising. Thanks for looking, Cole

I took a look at your two links, some nice shots, but I noticed a tendency you have of cropping them too close to an edge. This makes them very difficult to frame and also produces an unbalanced picture. As I said just my observation. Not all showed that, but a large number of otherwise excellent shots did. Couple of Canon bodies, a couple of Canon lens, few gadgets all stuffed in a bag...and a stick, and a tripod.

Thanks for the advice, is it better then to have the animal center frame? I guess I was doing more of a rule of thirds to give the animal "room" on the going to side. Perhaps it is too much. Again, thank you. Cole Be Better today than Yesterday, strive to Be better Tomorrow than today

Didereaux Senior Member More info | Rule of 1/3rds still applies, but with animals the 1/3rd should be in the middle of the animal and not the head (in the case of full body shots). Always leave some space for proper framing even if it means centering the subject. Couple of Canon bodies, a couple of Canon lens, few gadgets all stuffed in a bag...and a stick, and a tripod.
