Guide for rear camera screen

I didnt know where to put this question but thought id start here.

Im looking for a guide to place on the back screen of my camera to have a 9x10,875 guide for when i shoot for this magazine. Anyone know where i can get one from?

Grease pencil?

Electrical tape / painters tape?

I like the electrical tape idea. You can cut it easily to a thin piece and place it where ever you want. It also removes easily without marking the plastic.

Exactly, I've done it in the past for emulating 6x6 med format.

I'm not sure on other cameras but on my 1D3 i can bring up guide lines in live view for different aspect ratios so i used that as reference for my tape.

Come to think of it, everyday clear Scotch tape would let you see what's beyond the edge.

that slightly opaqe tape would be cool, clear line but still see the out side of frame, just a little hazy

You could make your own cropmarks for Magic Lantern and use them when viewing the scene in Live View.

this would be really cool. I would have no idea how to code though

I think in ML you can use custom bmp files for overlay.

Well this is what i was thinking originally, see the grid of the screen, those boxes are where is usually cropped out on page. Id love a clear adhesive sheet i could put over my screen

You should have no problem making custom cropmarks like that for ML in Ps.

Get a LCD protector for your LCD size, take a sharpie (the thin tip sort) and draw lines with a ruler on the protector.
