2015 San Francisco Fleetweek Airshow

Just thought I'd post some photos from the SF Fleetweek Airshow this past weekend.This was actually the first time I've ever tried photographing any airshow,so any C&C would be welcome.

Photos were taken with either Canon 7D mark II or 5D mark III with 300mm f2.8 II or 70-200mm f2.8 II.

the 2nd pic is very cool!

on number 2 not a transonic cloud unless you heard a boom I doubt one of the blues went supersonic inadvertently would be severly punished for that I bet. Those are vapor trails from the shock wave of the jet Nice photos I always wanted to see fleet week

Thanks for the clarification David.This is the first time I've shot aviation so I don't know the correct terminology.You're right,I'm sure they would get in big trouble if they broke the sound barrier.I'm not sure what the effect is called,but I've seen pics by others that show a clearly defined cone of vapor surrounding the plane.
Although not as clearly defined,here's another shot later in the sequence during the same pass.Is this called a vapor cone or is it something else?

The high speed pass is doing routinely at each show. Both the Blues and the Thunderbirds do it, in both directions. The speed is also under the Speed of Sound, and works best in high humidity venues, such as the SF Bay.
The attached image is of an FA 18, at the same venue, a couple of years ago.
I was standing on the pier, which is closed to public use, and is local flight control during the program.
Your images are top notch, especially the pass, since that blurred background gives the impression of high speed.

Thanks for the additional info hankpac.Awesome shot by the way.I wonder why mine wasn't as defined.Less than ideal atmospheric conditions?
