Too bad you couldn't get the dog on the other side of the fence. The fence rail shadows are disruptive.

Why are the herons all the way on the right side of the frame? There's nothing interesting in the left. Relax a little bit on the rule of thirds.

I'm good with the dog shot - the shadows of the fence ads a bit of interest to me. If I had a chance, I might have gotten a slight bit lower to pull the dog's head a bit higher vs. the fence.

The heron shot is pretty cool - tho i'd crop a little and remove the upper diagonal... I think it is distracting. I'm all for negative space and like the positioning of the birds in the lower right, just think it could be tightened a bit.

I really like #1 and I agree with Planet5D the shadows bring interest to the shot.
